It’s always weird when someone calls tripas “tripe”, it’s the small intestine. When I think tripe it’s the stomach lining of a ruminant, any of the four stomachs. Tripe is what menudo is made from, tripas are definitely the small intestines btw usually from a young animal.

Quick update for Fisherman Outlet. The workers are currently on strike. Call to see if they have resumed their hours. Also, M-T they open from 10am to 2pm. F-S they are 10am to 3pm i believe. Close on Sundays

There’s difference between the 2 taco places you tried La tripa bc the 1st one is boiled in fat & water then make it crispy on the plancha and tacos al cabron La tripa is charbroiled. Just a lil psa moment.

Tried Ozzy's Pizza today! Honestly, wasn't impressed. Maybe it wasn't fresh the day I ordered (my order was just lying there for 30 minutes when I picked it up) , but I felt the tomato sauce wasn't that great. These days I don't give a shit how good or 'viral' something is. After taking into consideration inflation, any meal over $15 is an automatically unjustifiable expense. None of these places you've been to seems particularly justified for its price. Even tacos at $2.50 is overpriced when you can get even better tacos in LA for under $2.00

If you want the best charbroiled tacos en LA you need to go to Tacos Los Poblanos in Slauson & Avalon. Need to try Carne Asada, Chorizo, Cabeza & if you want Al Pastor to me is ight but the other meats I just mentioned are 🔥. Son los mejores tacos al carbón in LA. Better than tacos al cabron and the price is way more affordable than tacos al cabron. Tacos al cabron isn’t doing it like before and way too expensive now.
