You’re the new housekeeper?” What this implies is that Beakley didn’t become Scrooge’s housekeeper until AFTER Della got lost in space, which, (if we assume Webby is the same age as the triplets), would be around the same time that Webby hatched.

Groovy Cookie why would it be disgusting? It would work because Webby is almost like a sister to the triplets. The first time I had seen a picture of Webby, Louie, Huey, and Dewey together, that they were siblings. Maybe Mrs. B had fell in love with a secret F.O.W.L agent and was so embarrassed that she left her son with him. She was so ashamed that when she learned that Della had one daughter with her own son, she asked for the girl and named her Webbigail. Webby was her only way of feeling good about herself after leaving her child with a bad man. Maybe F.O.W.L. had destroyed the home of Mr. Vanderquack after learning that he was the father of the triplets and that he was the son Agent 22. They may have killed Webby’s father and grandfather in the process.

What if Webby was a clone of Della to take care of the triplets but the clone came out as a baby. Then beakly took her in. It explains why she does not have parents and fits her in the time line. It also explains her similarity to young della. Her this does not explain her name but they wouldn’t name her clone Della. We know that cloning is possible because of the gearloose clones in moonvasion.

Personally I've headcannoned since the original ducktales that Magica used a disguise to try and get scrooge's number 1 dime and all the luck/magic that went along with it. but ended up temporarily falling in love with him and had to disappear during the last trimester so scrooge would find out and she gave up the child (apparently still as an egg) because she didn't want to be a mother of his children so no-one actually knows who webby mother is but a note left with the child/egg explained how scrooge is the father and the mom was "mentally" unfit for parenthood.

Ik im late, but i want to share by theory: Maybe Webby's parents died from a spy mission. I believe they're (good) agents just like Beakley was. Beakley trained her daughter just how she trained her grand-daughter. While Webby's parents are in a mission, there must be a explosion or something deadly that killed them. Beakley doesn't want to tell her grand-daughter beacuse she doesn't want to broke Webby's innocent little heart. Beakley trained Webby for the future, for survival and carefulness cause she doesn't want to happen the same thing to her child that died from a dangerous mission. And this probably happen before Webby was hatch, when she just a egg left with her grand-mother. My theory 😁 And your theory can be true too.

Hang on, you mention that maybe Beakley gave Webby the surname Vanderquack to disguise her from her parents, but if her real name is Vanderduck that's not much of a disguise is it, it sounds very similar. Surely she'd give her a totally different name, or even her own name Beakley? I thought and have thought that Webby is actually Scrooges granddaughter, I mean she's so like the boys to look at. She doesn't actually resemble Beakley much. I noticed that at the end of the Mermaid episode, that you aren't sure if Beakley is lying about being her grandmother or keeping secrets. However what's pertinent is that the harp didn't say she was lying after she said she was her grandmother, she said it after she said about keeping secrets. That could mean that it's the latter she's lying about. Maybe Della is her mum, that's another possibility. Or the villain with the long bill at FOWL who Beakley fought in the 60s.

I had a theory: What if Webby was the Phantom Blot's daughter (Phantom Brat)? I was looking at the Blot's abilities, and I noticed some similarities: Super intelligence (Webby has the knowledge of your average 153-year-old) Acting (I mean, she and Lena tricked the Beagle Boys) and escaping (I think that one's pretty obvious if you've seen the show) Plus, Phantom Brat and Webby both wear bows, so, there's that too.

I have seen enough spy movies, Disney-movies and much more to theorize that Webby is a CLONE of Beakley. Because I have done some counting and the ages don’t add up. Beakley wasn’t married in that flashback, but if she *already* was married then the age of Webby’s parents doesn’t add up because then they would have been around 40-50 years old and *that’s* way to old to just have an 10 years old daughter if Webby didn’t have older siblings. Plus, she hasn’t mentioned her parents *once* of “where are they” , “what are they doing” and think if Webby’s skills actually is that she was originally supposed to be an super-soldier to F.O.W.L which maybe lead to Beakley taking care of her. Maybe Webby goes through some sort of identity crisis and almost joins F.O.W.L but gets stopped.

Ok what you came up with is like amazing and it’s more likely then what I came up with So when the triplets were laid, Della had an extra egg, but her / Scrooge knowing how childish she is, gave her to beakly to train her and take care of her. Because notice how similar she looks to Della and the twins? And she doesn’t look like Mrs. B at all. She acts similar to Della and looks like her. Note that penny in the “mooner on earth” episode? She called webby “little Della” but no other duck except for the boys. And in the last episode out right know, she kept saying I-I... so maybe she was trying to say “I’m not your grandma.”? I love your Scrooge McDuck impression, and I'm starting to love this channel. This is only the second video I've watched, and it's wonderful. My working theory is that Webby is going to be given a story similar to Gosalynn Mallard in Darkwing Duck; that her parents were influential in possibly the scientific community, or maybe even green agents in S.H.U.S.H. who were killed in persuit of FOWL. And now FOWL or someone just as diabolical is seeking information that they believe she knows. So Beakly is entirely cutting that part out of Webby's life in order to keep her quiet about her identity, as well as keeping her identity from agents of FOWL.

I actually had a theory very similar to this last year, about webby‘s parents being secret agents. Yet in my theory Webby is in witness protection, and that perhaps someone in the villainess organization could be looking for her and try to use her against her parents if they are still around. I think he might or probably just may not be around anymore. I would love it if this got brought up on the show. I love when the show dives more into the characters doing with their own family secrets, asas well as their own internal issues. And when facing a hard truth I think the first person who should be at her side should be doing, this may be the shipper side of me saying it but also because she was there to motivate Dewey when he was afraid that his mother could be villainess as well . Now this third season is supposed to have an arc for Huey but I definitely believe there is still a lot of character work for all the other characters too. I can’t wait to see what the show has in store, I don’t know how long this will be on for but I know there is a lot of story potential for this family they are extraordinary

Sooo I just had a thought and it's a little more based on what I used to think back when I was little, watching the original Ducktales. So, when i was a kid and I saw Webby on the original Ducktales, I thought she looked so much Daisy Duck (both wore pink bows in their hair and had the feathery duck tails on the backs of thier heads) that I thought that Daisy and Webby were mother and daughter, or in the least aunt and niece (much like how Donald and the triplets are uncle and nephews). So that either Daisy had a relationship with Beakley's son or Daisy had a sister that did. Buuuuut that's just pure speculation on my part xD Especially since that was what I thought as a kid that watched the original series but who knows? Since a lot of reboots are known to change some details about the canon lore and characters, maybe Daisy could have a connection to Webby? Whether they're mother and daughter or aunt and niece. Or they don't have one at all, it's a possibility that Disney may go the route of Webby being Daisy's niece and Daisy having a sister that married Bentina's son.

I do believe this could be possible but My personal theory is that instead of her parents being a part of F.O.W.L. they instead died due to F.O.W.L. . And that’s why Beakly is so protective of Webby. it’s possible for Beakley to of seen her daughter and her son in law die to F.O.W.L. Not wanting that to happen to her granddaughter she protects and trains her. It’s even possible that Miss.B even saved Webby when she couldn’t save her daughter. Kind of funny that he briefly mentioned her being a clone and then dismissed the idea. Interesting to note that most clone theories I have seen have not even considered Scrooge as the donor, but to be fair to the theorists, considering that they are the opposite sexes and Webby and Beakly are female it was easier to assume that Webby was a direct clone of Beakly. Got to admit that the writers were pretty good at hiding the truth in plain sight by making Beakly an agent and making Webby follow in her footsteps of being well trained in combat and weaponry. Not to mention making Webby a mirror of Scrooge McDuck while disguising it as admiration. Also, I didn't expect the writers to have so much free reign where they would be able to make this twist in the first place, especially considering that Webby has never been that important of a character in the Duck Universe in any of its incarnations.

We knew from the very beggining that Beakley is an overprotective grandmother who kept Webby inside Scrooge's mansion for a decade, but we never got a reason as to WHY that is. You'd think that someone with her backstory wouldn't be like that, but it's more likely something happened before that made Beakley afraid of losing Webby until Scrooge left his ten year retirement.

I've always assumed Mrs. Beakley was overprotective of Webby because of her past as a spy. She probably made lots of enemies during her career, so any family member of hers could be targeted by them. This might also be the reason why she moved to McDuck Manor and became the housemaid after Duckworth's death, because she knew it'd be the safest place for Webby to grow up, until she was old enough to take care of herself.

In my theory, being a spy runs in Webby's family. Maybe Webby's parents were spies themselves but they couldn't raise a duckling on the job and so they had to give Webby away to Granny when she retired and she didn't tell Webby probably because of Wotso's theory.

It wasn't outright confirmed if Webby is a clone or if she's a result of Scrooge's DNA being combined with the one of another duck but none of these possibilities were debunked either. We don't know if Vanderquack really is a fake name in general. There is a chance that Bentina actually had a daughter who was married to somebody with the last name Vanderquack. There is no evidence stating that Webby's mother is Goldie O'Gilt. If it were true, Webby would have shared some physical resemblance with Goldie. Also, it just wouldn't make any sense from F.O.W.L's perspective to go through all that extra trouble just to gather DNA from a duck other than Scrooge who's outside of F.O.W.L instead of just using the DNA of one of their own agents to combine Scrooge's DNA with. Webby's current first name is not Abigael, it's Webbigail. Also, it would make more sense for May and June to gain the same last name as Webby. You have a lot of catching up to do.

In Season 1 the main focus was on Dewey and discovering the truth about his mother, as he was the one most advocating with it. In season 2 the main focus was on Louie and his business and trying to be rich like Scrooge, and before season two’s final showdown it showed what Louie was like when he finally had it all and the choices he made when he was the richest duck in the world. I believe season three will perhaps focus on Webby, as with her familial connection to F. O. W. L, and discovering her role in the family.

Am I the only one who want webby to fight her grandma in an epic battle while yelling at her about how she promised to not keep and anymore secrets. But in the climax beekley has webby in her arms hugging her and telling her the entire story of why she never told her about her parents and how she just wanted to keep her safe. They both cry and hug one another. But deep in the shadows we see two people, a man and a woman, watching as webby and Beekley walk back into the mansion hand in hand. Just an idea.

I think the statement "fibbing, fibbing, fibbing." means beakly has told 3 lies. first being she webbys grandmother. second she has no more secrets and the 3rd being she wont have anymore more secrets in the future. I think this means beakly isnt her grandma she has more secrets and that she plans to keep telling lies to her grave.

I like this theory, but I have a twist. Perhaps her parents didn't turn evil, but were betrayed by a close friend who became evil. That would also fit with Beakly protecting Webby from Lena before, because she saw a friend betray her child before.
