My son was 2 when he started on a crf50 an now 9 an rides my rmz 450 an trx450r like he's done it for years. He has amazing throttle control. Anything with a motor I trust my kid on

My son and daughter were 3 years old when we put them on there first dirt bikes. Just like there pedal bikes we didn’t put training wheels on, we seen all our friends kids struggle with being dependent on them and just make riding way more difficult. And I do understand that way isn’t for every kid. It just worked really well for ours.

My parents started me off at 3 years old on a PW50. Had the throttle control so the speed was regulated. It ABSOLUTELY taught me SOOO MUCH at such a young age!!! It’s more than just motorcycle knowledge they obtain, it’s LIFE lessons and experience!!! 🤙🏻✊🏻👊🏻

I was 5 , on a z-50 honda in 1970. Never stopped ..... except for injuries and surgeries. ....still riding today , but a lot slower and much more conservative

I learned to ride my dirt bike at 3 in 1992 before my bmx bike, and if I have a kid I hope to start him young too.

My first son started off on pw 50 when he was 4 and 5th birthday got him a cleaner newer model Xr50 the people isn’t running right this moment needs new air box and carburetor cleaned if not some minor parts replacement,the xr50 has been very tough bike he rides extremely rough for a 50 trail bike now he will b 7 at the end of august and he wants a 65 I’m just debating getting him a 65 or just starting him out on 85 small wheel he is very tall and great shape for his age not a skinny kid is why I’m asking your thoughts on moving straight to an 85 I know it’s a lot but it isn’t that much difference in 65 except the time the rider like mine may only be able to ride it for a year or 2 at most and race bikes ain’t cheap like 50s and 110s used or new so I want to get him a newer 65 or 85 preferably Kawasaki or Yamaha I would prefer those brands. What would you guys prefer 65 for few years then to supermini ? Or straight to 85 beginner class at 7-8 years old he is larger size 7 year old and has been riding since he was 4 what you guys think?
