It's actually pretty easy to stop eating dairy! You just have to give up baked goods and a lot of breads and snacks since they almost all contain milk. But it's really easy to live without milk, cream, butter, etc. I miss cheese for sure, and substitute cheeses don't taste that good. So you just eat other stuff instead when you crave cheese :( There is a brand of non-dairy yogurt called Kite Hill which is my favorite, it's very expensive but it's good as a treat. I have to get my probiotics now from supplements because I used to get them from eating yogurt daily before I gave it up.

You should definitely try the dairy free products that are now out there (vegan/plant based). I have been a vegan for a year now. It really isn't that bad & there are so many options. There are like 3 types of vegan/dairy free yogurts at my local Sprouts store (some made with soy, coconut, or almond).

Hey steve how about taking a pre and probiotic? I have been taking a probiotic recently for gas, but I also incorporated a prebiotic with is because I've been very very gassy and I have been tested for any food intolerances and I tried going gluten free for awhile but it didn't help me much, however I have taking both a pro and prebiotic and it is helping me out a bit with my gas!
