Actually it's incorrect to call Mongol people in China as Mongolian. Mongolians are citizens of independent Republic of Mongolia, whilst Mongol is an ethnicity. hence should just be called Mongols or Menggu-zu in Hanyu. They're not found only in China, but Russia, Korea & neighboring central Asia -stans. Note the difference..
