what's ur opinion on this resort compared to a resort like hyatt ziva riviera cancun?

Hi Edmon. The Riu was a really fun place to stay and one of the nicest all inclusive options in the area - that said, there is little to no competition for anything beyond 3* resorts in Mazatlan. 90% of the meals here are buffet-style dining, vs the opposite percent at Hyatt. The quality & variety of foods were elevated at Hyatt as well. Put it this way - if you like the Riu Emerald Bay, you will LOVE the Hyatt Ziva Riviera Cancun!

HI Sea Leg Journeys! Yes they had a reasonable amount of options. I also liked how they kept the vegetarian stuff separate. No need to worry about cross-contamination here!

Hi Ted! Yeah I've stayed at all of those plus the Riu in Nassau, St Marten (now is a Secrets), and Aruba - really can't complain about the food at any of them!

@@tednguyen7258 well there’s something to be said for knowing the standard of what you can expect at a resort in a new country. Beats trying something new and being utterly disappointed with it!
