I purchased this pattern on the Friday it was featured for $5. I love that it has the layering so I only have to print my size and not everyone else's. I made my blouse the same day and the directions were so easy and I didn't have to make any adjustments as I do with the commercial patterns. I loved the fit and I'm looking for a knit fabric to make my 2nd blouse. I loved your video and the tips were excellent. Thank you!

Great tutorial. Thanks for showing how to adjust the pattern into a dress. So my question is how can a woven pattern also work with knit fabric? You only ever hear patterns can only use one or the other. Thank you

Thank you! It will depend on the pattern, since this pattern has a natural swishyness to it, It was a great pattern to make in knit.

It is quite simple to make drapey wovens from knit fabric but not the other way around. Sometimes you may need to size down but generally it goes well! You should totally try it! ~K

I love the Harmony. I have been purchasing Love Notions patterns for 3 years. I haven’t sewn a garment for myself in probably 25 years. One exclusion on that I tried a craftsy class so I could sew for myself again. The blouse was way to big. I don’t believe the instructor really knew what she was doing. I went back recalculated had a friend use the instructors method and do the calculations and they came out the same. I used to love to sew my clothes. When I became so overweight I stopped sewing garments . Now I’m terrified to try again. In the past I made wedding dresses, dresses for the bridal party, men’s western shirts. I made most of the shirts my boys wore.

Don’t be afraid of it, just practice before you sew the front material. Be sure to sew a practice garment (a muslin) before you do your fashion fabric. That will give you the time to see how it works and fits your body.
