I had the 50th anniversary edition of this bike and man did I love it. I put 17k miles on it and never had an issue, but I sold it and got a 15 r1 and man I didnt know what I was missing. Huge upgrade, and side note when I was looking for one your first ride video took part in my decision and is dope to see you at fmc bc rhats wherr my girl got her bike

this bike is awesome i love every second i spent on mine, exact same bike and colour except i have a sc project exhaust.. one thing i didnt like was the stock tyres cause the shape is so round and it doesnt feel rigth going on corners, after changing it to dunlop sportsmax q3+ it felt great in corners and did not take much effort and it feels for planted

My favorites are Honda and BMW. The Suzuki is an excellent option for the money, but I don't particularly appreciate how it looks in the front. I own a CBR1000RR, and I got it brand new; it now has 20,000 miles and still makes me smile. The only modifications are the Akropovic full exhaust, K&N air filter, Power Commander V, and cosmetics. So far, I like it, and it is comfortable enough for a supersport bike.

It's a good thing you told me it didn't have a quick shifter or I would have been pissed had you gone for the ride with the impression that it did :-) I actually own this exact bike but it matte black. Just installed a TOCE slash cut exhaust... Really nice

I own this exact same bike in the matte black color and let me tell you.. it's a sleeper.. a lot of riders give honda a bad reputation when it comes to performance but these new CBR's are no joke.. they will pull mid to high rpm..

I recently picked up a 2018 unsold FireBlade, the bike is absolutely incredible i got the quickshifter fitted aswell, these blades were painted in a bad light because of issues with the race bikes despite not being a problem with the road bike it still effected sales and people like to moan about them... I couldn't be happier with mine the build quality is amazing, the power is so addicting and it just eats up the corners aswell as being very light for a 1000cc, would definitely not recommend one as a 1st bike though haha i went 125, 650, 1000.... Keep up the awesome vids, UK viewer :)

It only has bad reputation because US ecu is restricted af. In Asia, its totally unrestricted and its crazier than other 1000cc. Its even more nimble than the rest so coming out of the corners, we'll just blast through those R1s and S1ks like a slice of cake.

Most people think CBRs are slow but I thought this was pretty mean. My GSXR was flashed and it was a good bit in between riding them both to really compare. The GSXR might have a slight edge top end, but I think the CBR is a better all around machine.

Its probably slow to start because it may not be tuned properly for that exhaust. They are a ROYAL BITCH to tune, like HOURS upon HOURS to tune....So most people put a slip on and call it a day, HOWEVER; they are really picky when you make slight changes. If you wanted the lighter to flick bike look for an SP1/SP2 to ride. They are superior in everyway and they have both QSS and auto blipper, plus the SP2 comes with forged marchesini's which are stupid light. The SP models are lighter than all other liter bikes, actually my SP2 weighs less than my R6. Edit: you can also buy a new old stock SP model for DECENT prices. The Sp2 was 25k new, i got mine, ZERO MILES NEW, as new old stock for 17k, considering what you get you really cant beat it, and anyone who claims different hasnt ridden the best from honda yet.
