I would go with the Elantra not because only I have the same engine in my Sportage, rather of the modern exterior and interior design. The Civic is a very good compact car but it looks to boring for my taste. Thanks 😀

I can’t get on board with the looks of the Elantra. Some cars like the WRX look better over time, not so with the Elantra…

I was heavily considering both cars, but the insurance cost and reliability were the ultimate factors for me. Hyundai/KIA still have issues with engine fires and a horrible anti-theft system. Trying to insure a Hyundai would’ve cost me a fortune even with my perfect driving record.

Hyundai Elantra is the best looking for sure. Not a fan of the tablets on top of the dash on ether car but the Civic dash looks best to me. It would look more sleek if they were built in.

In person the Civic dash screen seems nice and isn't in the way. I've got pretty used to the tablet style
