My son played this for me some time ago. I fought the tears while he was here. My husband died in May of 2020. We would have had 47 years together on June 2nd. My Lovely K.S.O., Another song By Alan Jackson that is among my top songs in my playlist. I had to get that out of the way to say that this a song that is very personal to Alan. What I've read, the video shows old home movies of his life as a child and of marriage. That is also Denise, his wife dancing with and kissing him. They've been married for 41 years now and all three of there children (all girls) are grown and have lives of their own. For an eight month spell, they had separated due to Alan's travels and infidelity. They did reconcile for she decided that he was worth the heartbreaks and forgiving him would begin to heal the rift that developed between them. Trust also had to be re-earned and that takes time. This song is beautiful and it does cut a little deeper for me. Have a blessed evening.

I saw Alan Jackson during a visit to Nashville over 25 years ago. He's an excellent performer. My favorite tune by him is more of an upbeat number called "Don't Rock the Jukebox." In the song, he mentions country music legend George Jones. If you'd like to hear one of the saddest songs in the English language, check out "He Stopped Loving Her Today" by George Jones. I lost my wife 39 years ago at the age of 25. We had only been married 6 years. Passed away after complications from the delivery of our son. This song wells the tears up from my heart.
