Shout At The Devil, Kill Em All, Bark At The Moon, Holy Diver, Piece Of Mind, Lick It Up (KISS' 1st album w/o makeup), Pyromania, and of course Metal Health which had the 1st metal song to reach number 1 on the charts! There are tons more too all from 1983

@@asregdor3386 In 1983, they were absolutely considered part of that category. You have to think in the context of the time. As soft as they seem today, that was referred to as "heavy metal" by the majority of casual listeners, especially offended parents, and grandparents.

You say about songs you hear within this song... I hear Back From Cali - Slash & Myles Kennedy. Love Steel Panther, watched your interview with Michael Starr when you released it and it was amazing to see him without the stage persona. I went to see SP in Glasgow a couple of months ago, missed them by what could have been minutes, could have been hours in the GuitarGuitar store there, not that I'd have recognised Satchel or Spyder out of "costume", but I would have known who Michael was from a mile away. This song is a brilliant collaboration, would love to see a battle between Sophie and Satchel 🤣 On a side note, I recently found out The Darkness were the reason I couldn't do my work experience in Chapel Studios. I didn't know it at the time, but when I found out you recorded Permission To Land there, kind of made sense not to have a 14/15 year old kicking about the place!
