Dear Frank Smith, it’s not about us fans, you know the “builders”, not having the intellectual capacity to interpret a scientific 270 page dossier supporting Benn’s case. Conor Benn’s withholding of the NADP’s decision reasoning means that Benn/Matchroom are keeping the reason secret from boxing fans, the public and the media. Why? Not because it’s beyond our comprehension, rather it’s unflattering to Benn’s “cleared” status. Cut the BS that us plebs wouldn’t understand the scientific complexities of the decision. Simply tell us paying fans, is it A). Lab-contamination, B). Food-contamination, C). Jurisdiction, or D). Something else? Show some integrity, honesty and transparency. Don’t hide behind ‘confidentiality’. It’s only confidential because Mr Benn and Matchroom insist on keeping it confidential. That’s very telling. If you’ve nothing to hide, what are you hiding? You’ve been telling us Benn is innocent for 2 years but you won’t tell us why. It’s a big cover-up! Money has paid for the best lawyers to circumnavigate ‘strict liability’ and ‘accountability’. Your secrecy says it all. Do us paying fans not deserve to know the truth? Meaning the whole truth, as opposed to PR spin.
