Thank you for an in depth look into it. WPL should be paying for you to publish this data on their servos

... well, their servos are not that bad - so they had good luck in this case. But I prefer not to be paid and to be able to say if something is bad ;-)

Thank you Donald! Very comprehensive test. We’re still fighting to eliminate the SAE standard. As a retire German car mechanic, it has always annoyed me that I needed to purchase SAE. It sure helped tool companies here sell more stuff. I was reminded just last week when i pulled out my 2007 Losi 1/8 nitro truck after a long hiatus. It’s built with a combination of 1/16”,1/8”, 1.5mm, 2mm hex! Just so silly😎

It seems to be very difficult for many US Americans to get away from those standards. But fortunately at least in scientific publications those units are not accepted anymore and papers have to be submitted using international standards. Reading (very) old publications is sometimes horribly difficult, because authors used many different units (e.g. for length, weight, pressure). I am really surprised that some technicans an engineers still use those units. There are some units which are easier to understand for me and others that are more difficult. Mph, pounds, even inch and feet are not that difficult to "get into your head", for me most difficult are Fahrenheit, ounzes and gallons; and oz-in tops them all ;-) Would be happy to use and change my mind into those units if I would see any advantage. But I cannot - whats the advantage of super compicated 1/4, 1/16, 3/32, 5/64 etc. inch to mm/cm/m and decimals? All that is more tradition than anything else I guess. However, hearing people talk about servos and oz-in causes troubles for me in understanding, there is no automatism. Of course I can calculate to kg-cm, but while watching a video, this is difficult. BTW: I wrote an email to Reefs servos some months ago because of not giving kg-cm torque units; they replied they will ad those. But so far they did not... so international customers seem not to be important for them. I think this is rather strange because they seem to have a connection to Italy. BTW: I heared that insome elder "real" US-cars which were partly made in the US and partly in Europe, as in your Losi, also screws of both types where used. Do not know, if this is true. I do also have a set of inch hex-wrenches, sometimes useful - even some elder China models (guess the HK 250GT crap heli 10 years ago?) used inch-hex screws.

The AFRC is probably not madefor a crawler...way faster then the rest and not much torrque. They should be hosest about the specifications though.

I bought it (for C34) because the description said it is that strong and so it could have been a very good steering servo. After this test I complained at the sellers customer service (Banggood) about the wrong description, and Banggood refunded 100% of the price! Big surprise for me. Still a good and fast servo, ... and now I got it "for free" ;-)

Just destroyed the c44km servo in 1h30 use...It just started to fail out of nowhere and one of the gears inside is destroyed.

Sorry to hear this. Did not drive it a lot so far. So better the JX servo ;-)

You should use a metal servo horn. Watch RC Reviews channel and looks at there setup.

Why should I or how should I? There are no metal servo horns for 25 g servos. Did you check that those are small servos and no standard servos? I use metal servo horns for the standard servo tests - see my other videos. Those small servos are not strong, so a sturdy plastic horn is ok.

There are just too many places on your rig that allow for flex. Hopefully if you see others than you can see where these loses are inevitable with wood, plastic, and thin wire. It’s relative I quest so....’

Thanks for all the hard work. Really love the channel.
