Jimmy i had 2017 jeep renegade, you messing with those e torx caliper bolts was my same feeling! They put red locktite on those suckers. You did with a reg wrech, i got out the breaker LOL. They are POS but when i traded it in they gave a pretty decent price. Paid 19k in 2017 and got 12k for it in 2024.

Yeah, those bolts are just silly to me. But I bust on almost everything nowadays, haha. Mostly about what’s easiest to repair really.

Jimmy! Finally some decent temperatures in Southern Arizona I think the high today is going to be 70 but our overnight lows have been a bit chilly in the 40s couple days last week. I don't think a week goes by at the shop where we don't work on at least 2 or 3 Subbies.. as a matter of fact I just did a rack last week and one. You're right those v6s are oil leaking pegs but they don't have the 2.5 head gasket issues as far as I know. And if you ever do spark plugs on those v6s go through the fender well rear wheel bearings? That's a whole nother thing😂

It is still at the shop and I've gotten to spend a couple hours on it. Next is to install a meter in the power and grounds, there are two of each and my scope in the CAN and see if the can drops out while still having power and ground. Once they let me work on it more.
