I really want to read something by Susin Nielsen now!! I've always been drawn to her books, particularly We are all made of molecules, but I've always seen not quite positive reviews online and that put me off a bit. But I'd love to give her books a try!

I DNFed The Daughter of the Moon Goddess, too much telling, and then that love triangle just did it for me. Read the synopses and decided to let it go. I also think I'm over tropy YA. I picked this up hoping for a similar experience to The Girl Who Fell Beneath the Sea, which was amazing. Maybe give that a go if you haven't read it yet.
