She’s a trip isn’t she? The D’Artagnan quail are much higher quality than I’ve been able to source locally. The only ones better are fresh ones if you or the old man have the stomach for hunting!

I have been shooting and eating quail most of my life and never have wrapped them in bacon. We keep it simple, but everything is better with bacon soooo we will try it out.

Found this video today (friday, January 12, 2024)....hubby and I carnivore since July 24, 2023. We found out about quail through Dr. Berry and his community snd decided to do all our research over the winter months and taste some eggs to make sure we like them and then build cages etc....just found your channel after looking for recipes (our last thing to search out besides building cages and getting our quail) so THANK YOU from us both here in ontario Canada

Would it be OK? No. It would be GENIUS! Especially if you got some of the bacon grease on the inside. And make sure you put your rub on top of the bacon fat so it doesn't all drip off. This is such a good idea I'm going to go take a cornish hen out of the oven and try it. If it works I'll make a video. Genius I say!
