Hey, what camera is it? Newer Sony cams have an auto power off setting that you can set to high to prevent it from shutting down at high temps.

Thanks for the help, it’s the Sony Zve-10. It was working great used it for two videos. Until today with a full battery it overheated and then after it cooled off battery was drained.

I’d suggest maybe powering it using the usbc cable (especially as you’re in a controlled static setup), keeping the battery door and LCD open and setting the auto power off to high. I haven’t used ZV-E10’s, but from what I’ve read they’re prone to overheating rather than the FX3’s and FX30’s I use, due to its lack of a fan. You may be able to mod it with a third party cooling attachment if you’re inclined to do so…
