This is good to have habit definitely, but if you could maintain this in a spreadsheet (Excel) in your laptop, things will be much easier. I maintain for the last 20+ years.

Hello. I am not actually understanding what you want to ask. The budget I make in the beginning of every month is what I think I want my money to spend on. I am trying to give my money a job to do instead of just spending it on anything. The amount I have put in every categories have been determined by looking at my past expenses. I prioritize savings and fixed expenses first and then whatever is left I allocate that amount into my sinking funds and spending category. I hope this helped
