Yep! I love that bike but I need the space and $$$.
@upsidedowndog12562 жыл бұрын
I think you need a motorcycle lift. I bought one this week. I also got a motorcycle tire machine and dedicated cycle balancer. Wish you were closer! I would relace the front spoke wheel with new rim and spokes. It is a challenge but fun. Takes a trueing stand, though.
@BrandonBicasso2 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I’m gonna ship it off and have it repaired. There’s two bends on the opposite sides as well. I’m not against doing the work myself but I just don’t have the skill set yet. I see myself doing that maybe on bike #5 or #7. If I wait till I have the skills to do it, I’ll never get these completed. Also, the reason I don’t have a lift is for space. I may change my mind though once some of these bikes are out of the way. 🤟🏾 Hope your wife is doing well. Haven’t asked about her in awhile.

@@BrandonBicasso Thanks for asking about my wife! She is doing much better, finally. Won't be riding motorcycles any more, unfortunately.

@@BrandonBicasso I didn’t recognize the frame. I didn’t realize there was that much difference between the Chief and Super Chief. Completely different frame. Is it still Aluminum?

It’s the same frame, just different pieces on top of it. Also, steel frame. 🤟🏾

It’s like he said in the vid, the hardest part is knowing how much force to apply. I had that issue with the sub frame. When trying to set it in a certain spot, it would go back to its original position. So, I had to go past that bend point and I went a bit too far the first time. I won’t be tossing the forks so they will sit on the shelf for a bit. If I find a reliable source, can have the outer forks replaced on the Super Chief.
