Hi Cary, I'm a Dad who had this problem a few years ago with my son when he was starting. I realized I was placing too much pressure on him to win. I did exactly what you recommended. We focused on offensive goals only. It was a game changer. When we started focusing on the process, the outcome took care of itself.

I have sectionals in a few days, I was nervous this whole week about placing but this video is helping me not worry about it and im just going to try to reach the goal I made for my first 3 matches which is getting 7 takedowns, 5 escapes and don't give up any back points. So thanks a lot Cary

Sure but you need to provide me with questions and I will try and make it happen. We have more inside single finishes but it's located on Kolat.com we only release about 1 video a week from a variety of areas.

Hey Cary, i have only just finished my first season as a freshman and have begun my off season about 2 weeks ago. Hello Cary I am a 7th grade wrestler I have been wrestling two years I am sitting at 115 I was undeafted this year but last year I three times and I live in Indiana and I'm wondering how can I be more aggressive I do set goals I say well this kid scored 3 points so I'm going to only let the next kid score 2. I also wonder if you can show leg rides because mine are weak and my coaches do not teach legs

first.thank you for every video you put out there.you are making huge impacts on many peoples game..my 8th grade daughter is a multiple time girls state champ in Ohio.she does more than hold her own against any boy she faces too..she is at that point where no one near her weight at her school can touch her..we have to travel to nearby schools for competition ..nearing state tourneys its hard to stay focused since she gets less mat time and nobody wants to wrestle her at her school.tired of holding back on lesser wrestler.she is a female with type 1 diabetes so everyday a battle within itself..she watches a TON of your videos and always wants to learn.but mentally its tough when she learns stuff and has nobody to try new moves on.any advice on how to stay strong when your hated for being good? sorry , know that's alot of info..she just wants to win and its tough without proper training partners and mat time.

Cary, honest question here. So I finished my High school wrestling career around 3 years ago And i had only started wrestling my last two years of high school. Thinking i would not get the chance to compete again, i took 3 years of and decided to go to Community college. Now i find my self attending a university with a club team. I have been practicing with the team for a couple months now and the season is coming to an end. I didn't get a chance to compete knowing i am out of shape and nearly not as good as i was when i was in high school. It's very discouraging knowing I have forgotten many of the fundamental moves of wrestling. I only remember a limited number of set ups, break downs, and take downs. I seem to loose every position in practice and just can't remember the proper Technique alot of the times. I should have about 2 years left here at my university so I'm looking forward to 2 more seasons. Any suggestions on how i can improve every aspect of my wrestling. Thanks Cary, love your Videos.
