New Jack shoulda been in some Rated R violent action movies, where he's like a black Charles Bronson, putting fear in the bad guys as he comes for them.

I have an idea for a horror movie that's a purposefully trashy exploitation film like those kung-fu movies that used existing footage of Bruce Lee before he died to capitalize on his fame. It'll be called "The X" after his pose and the ref signal that inspired it where New Jack returns from the dead and wreaks havok on a caricatured version of the wrestling industry. It'll use body doubles, CGI and real clips to put it together. It begins with New Jack's body in the morgue and one of the coroners explains his backstory to the other and says he wants to try something. He puts New Jack's entrance theme Natural Born Killaz on his cell phone and places it up to New Jack's ear and when that opening distorted scream kicks in, his eyes open. The opening credits run as he kills both coroners and sets off on his rampage of destruction. There is no way this movie would ever be made and the idea of it is in extremely poor taste, but I think New Jack would have LOVED it.

RIP Jack. I knew him and I can attest that he was a nice respectful guy out of his gimmick. He met my whole family and was the most polite person. We fed him home cooked Cajun food and he was super appreciative of it. My favorite time was sitting on my front porch and talking wrestling because I didn't come off as someone who knew it all. I asked questions from how things are done in the ring to the business side of it. He was open with me and didn't do the kayfabe thing. He actually explained things. It was a great 3 days.

He really was. You should have talked to him. He was funny but he was smart as hell. Especially when it came to wrestling. He met my parents and didn't swear in front of them once. I'll always remember that about him.

@Big Jon my original point still remains. New Jack was a real tough guy taking advantage of green youngest, the elderly, or anyone who had no hope of fighting back. He never tried going into business for himself against someone who had any hope of fighting back or who would stretch his ass. He would have been in a wheelchair for life if he tried craving up Severn or Shamrock back in the day.

I really find it difficult to call someone who watched his father shoot his mother a ‘scumbag’. Especially someone who definitely has a good side to them. Most people with PTSD - and he definitely had severe PTSD - demonstrate aggressive and erratic behaviour. New Jack had the thug in him but man, imagine what kind of a man he could have been had he not sought some kind of solace in providing entertainment for others
