Another episode of Reliving The War and another battle of the WWF vs WCW Monday Night War. WCW Nitro is live this week while WWF Raw is taped, Eric Bischoff and company are gearing towards the 1996 Halloween Havoc PPV where Hollywood Hulk Hogan will do battle with Randy Savage while the WWF are on the road to In Your House 11 where The Undertaker faces Mankind.
The nWo make a surprise appearance on this episode of Nitro and they disrupt the main event. Ric Flair gets taken out by the heel faction and the Macho Man finds himself in a tough position at the very end of the show. Superstars in action this week on WCW Nitro include Arn Anderson, Meng & The Barbarian, The Renegade, Rick Steiner and Chris Benoit. Over on the WWF channel, the company continue to "expose" Jeff Jarrett, a man who makes his WCW Nitro debut also this week. Sycho Sid faces Goldust in the main event, and Jim Cornette isn't pleased about Vader having to earn a WWF Championship match against Shawn Michaels.

Every time I see Sid I’m reminded of his horrifying and unfortunate “heel” turn at Wcw Sin 2001. It really killed his career, afterwards he was never the same.
