You have to love the trope where, "We take a model, or porn star, and we put her in pigtails and glasses, and instantly she's an outcast, sheltered, and a nerd and someone who's socially awkward. But the minute the glasses come off and the hair comes down, she's a bombshell". And she's always just waiting for some guy to come along and take her out of her shell.
