@@TheCornishStallion My Time has vocals, HPB is just an instrumental.
@Speedyreedy1218Ай бұрын
@@TheCornishStallion The one the video creator used was HBP, the first iteration of the instrumental. The one HHH'S character had at that time was My Time with the lyrics. Late 2000 is another instrumental. It's the genesis of The Game. It's called Game Time. It has more cymbals on the percussion and more bass. Motorhead added their playing and layered it over the HBP instrumental Jim Johnston already made. And somehow, made it more darker and sinister. The new 2001 lyrics was the special sauce on top. HHH outgrew My Time after Royal Rumble 2000. He was long overdue for the new theme that eventually came. My Time was about his rise. By RR, he already arrived and became a mainstay chess piece in the arcs of several characters on the show.

Triple H was ready to blossom as a ruthless singles competitor, no longer someone who gets held back by a group and who does silly adolescent gestures. The 12-year old me at the time wanted more gimmick matches, and we were disappointed that my favorite wrestler (The Undertaker) and their favorite wrestler (Stone Cold) couldn't be there. Rewatching it again with hindsight, I now appreciate what an important RAW it was: the first WWE event at the (then) Staples Center, one of Kurt Angle's first televised matches, one of The Rock's most memorable promos, and the biggest event of the night for pro-wrestling history...the introduction of B.B! Oh, and the (unofficial) start of the McMahon-Helmsley Era was important too, I suppose. P.S: Yes, that crowd was hugely anti-wedding. I would say Triple H was almost a face that night for what he did.
