Actually 2 or 3 weeks prior Vince on commentary referred to Austin as "Stone Cold" and Austin even did his infamous pissed off stare down at the camera. It was the February 19th 1996 episode of Raw in a match with Marty Jannetty it happened.

I just looked it up myself, I didn't know it, but Eddie Guerrero was actually splitting time between WCW and New Japan around this time, that's why we're not seeing him on Nitro all that often. He was the second "Black Tiger" in NJPW.

It's pretty well known that he initially hated the Goldust gimmick and was very uncomfortable with it. Later on he made it his own but originally he thought it was a terrible idea. It's also rumored that it was punishment(like the polka-dots) from McMahon for being Dusty's son.

Carlos Perez he was definitely juicing during this time period as well, he just hadn’t gone off the deep end with it. He was naturally big and stocky, but look at him in the mid 80’s vs him in this time period. Then do the same for Rick. Rick was basically the same and Scott, although not nearly as crazy juiced up as he would become was still definitely on the sauce at this point.

When I watched Pulse (James Darnell)'s playthrough of the WWE 2K14 30 Years of Wrestlemania mode, and he got to the Michaels-Hart match, it was so cool seeing these training vids included. I actually liked the Bret Hart Package. It somehow reminds me of the Rocky 3 (?) Montages, where Drago gets the best equipment possible for his Training Montage, while Rocky chops wood and uses Pig meat as punching bags. I like the fact, that Bret is somewhat portrayed as the underdog, just Like Rocky.

I actually enjoyed the chaos of the WWF main event, and the WCW as well (except for Hogan), the fans cheering for Flair over Hogan was hilarious. I prefered Luger/Wright, so for me the score was 2-2, but the main event should be the tie-breaker so I give the night to WWF
