UPN was one of our favorite channels to watch growing up. So I never missed SmackDown. If my mom wanted to go somewhere, I was like nope. I ain't missing SmackDown! 😂😂😂

I just now realized one of the last things Vince Russo created for the WWF before jumping ship to WCW was the Kennel From Hell match. Even Russo has admitted that was all his fault, in an interview with Chris Van Vliet last year he said “I walk over to look at the dogs and bro, the first dog licked my hand. And I’m like, bro, I never thought of what if they’re not attack dogs? What if they are pets? Do you know what I’m saying?” Dude literally never considered there being anything but vicious trained attack dogs like the kind you see in movies surrounding the ring.

@@philldumas9847 he did have a neck injury Shamrock has said this himself in interviews. He was not happy with Curtis after the match. The bleeding internally the week after was to cover up for the neck injury and he decided to go back to mma while recovering and also he had surgery done on one of his knees which WWF didnt know about as JR found out from Shamrocks agent at the time

I thought how they used Shane this week on both shows was sublime. He just seemed to gradually turn in to a babyface more every segment, the writing was astute, Shane was a weasly heel for so long that it would usually take long for people to come around to cheering someone like that, but the booking with him was extremely logical and made sure he had no problem being accepted as a good guy.

Why not do your own take on it as the finale of the reliving the war series. I know the last episode is likely going to be that "Shane bought WCW instead" episode. But an analytical look at what killed WCW from your perspective as someone who has gone through the whole thing in detail might be very very interesting.
