That's one of the reasons I stick to single player content and not playing online, because I don't have time for this BS, in a wrestling game or any other game, in fact I prefer to stay with the classics or good games with a lot of single player content for the rest of my gaming life than dealing with this toxic idiots.

My beef with online gaming has less to do with playing with toxic players and more to do with microtransactions and games as a service bullshit. I can take losing to someone via glitches or exploits as it's unintended by the devs but losing to someone because they used their real life money to buy their way into being good feels like it should literally be illegal because it's like literally buying a W from the developers.

Your the undisputed GOAT for this video. As someone that’s like the same age as you and that grew up playing these games like you did, this really brought me back big time like I played over 1200 online matches and I forgot about that invisible wrestler nonsense. I lost so many matches that year. To the point where even I joined the dark side and started making freeze finishers. So bad to the point where both wrestlers would freeze and no one could move lmao and I had to go back into creation. Very toxic online community that year
@metalheadjake33392 жыл бұрын
I solely played with created content off to stop the irreversible moves and invisible wrestlers but it didn't stop all the cheats. I remember grabbing a double A battery and mashing it across the pad to kick out of every pin...IF I was up against a Cheater. I didn't mind losing fairly but so many people were Cheaters.. it became a habit. I think I ended up being #24 on Smackdown vs RAW 2010 online leaderboard and I remember making a friend in Germany where we would team up and constantly be Rated Y2J (ME as Edge and him as Jericho) but I don't know why I played it so much. It caused me more stress and unfortunately doesn't seem to stop. Now I can't even be bothered with it anymore. Its still toxic. I just want WWE games to bring back a GOOD GM Mode and I'm happy. The online side is trash and kinda always has been I also was in a PS3 Chat room called JUTS chatroom and these people had no lifes. They wouldn't talk about anything (not even WWE or wrestling). All they ever talked about was their dumb W/L record on the game and kept spewing racist and sexist and other bigoted speech everywhere. None of them were friendly. Just all out toxic.
@BrettStormXWP2 жыл бұрын
I agree 100%. My goodness I've had some bad experiences online. Which just makes the actual good/great matches feel so much better. I remember whenever a hacker would be in the same match with me, I'd try my hardest to make sure they don't win. And usually I'd play Elimination Chamber matches so, I'd make sure they get eliminated so then the rest of the match could go without incident. Sometimes I'd manage it, sometimes I wouldn't but, gosh, it's so annoying when people hack to win in WWE games online. On 2K22, I've been generally lucky even if people still play cheaply and, I have encountered a hacker who would spam those Top of Cell moves even though it was a Chamber match. In general, there's so many horrible players online which makes the actual good ones that much better.

I have never related to a single KZbin video more than this! I'm finally 30yrs old, and have been maining WWE games all my life as my "multiplayer tryhard" game. I remember all of this to the T. Once the PS4 era of WWE games rolled around, I too stopped playing it competitively. Was never the same and when I retired. I will leave with this as a painful reminder to how bad this games toxic community really is.. While I moved on with my life and got married, had kids.. The Good Ol' Days of SVR 07.... BEFORE it was Patched, you could Hit the Headbutt and your Next Move CANNOT be Reversed.. It might be Wack, but be ready to use it on your opponents or they'll probably use it Relentlessly on you. There's also the Women's Toe Kick..... So what if it looks Ridiculous? It's a Quick, Un-Telagraphed Strike that's Liable to Catch your Opponents Completely Off Guard. If you Like to Win a Lot by Submitting your Opponents, Not only did you give your Character Several Submission Attacks, but you also had an Effective Button Mashing Method in Order to Make them Submit Sooner.. There's a Good Chance you had your Share of Thumb/Finger Blisters too. If you make the Mistake of Joining a Triple Threat Lobby where 2 Asshat Friends Intend to Double Team you, you can either A.) Try to Skillfully Get the W (I've done it), or B.) IF/When that isn't Working, Attempt to get away so you can Jump over the Barrier Located on the Upper Right of your Screen.. Head Towards the Back and Climb the to the Top of the Scaffold.. Unless they Know the Ladder Glitch, they won't be able to get to you down, and Will be left with 2 Choices of their own.. Begrudgingly Fight Eachother Until one Pins the Other, (Resulting in one of THEM Taking the L), or Quit, LMAO. Don't Forget about the Barricade and Cell Glitches.. The Ones that allow you to Repeatedly Slam your Opponents against them Non Stop without having to Worry about being Reversed. Select a Special/Finisher that's Harder for your Opponent to Anticipate/Reverse, and can be Executed Very Easily. If you Played this Game Enough Online You'd Know that You could be the Type of Player that Plays Honest and Admirable, or Cheap and Dirty.. Whether you Beat the Breaks off your Opponent Super Fast, or are on your way to Winning a Hard Fought Battle, it Won't Matter.. YOU WILL 100% GET QUIT ON, and it'll happen A LOT.. You'll know because you see a Big WWE Logo Flash in front of Your Screen JUST as you're about to Secure the Win.. You'll then be returned to the Menu and Rewarded with Absolutely Nothing.. No, that was NEVER Fixed in 07.

Tip of the day: avoid online at ALL TIMES! The community is crazy and it's a total zoo. At least you have fun at the zoo lol 😆. And boy did they swear 🤬.

I have one good memory of playing online. It was SvR 2010 and i made an edit to Matt Hardy that i thought looked pretty badass. It was black and red. I got into a triple threat match that wasn't too sweaty and nobody spamming moves over and over. It was a good old fashioned ass whooping i put on these 2 guys in a triple threat match! i remember them both talking to each other and the one kid said "Yo, what's going on with Matt Hardy?" And the other one said "I'm out" 😂 and they both quit. I'm so happy you made this video and made me remember that random time i had fun with the online. Because i hated it too. 😂

My first online experience was 13, boy was that an experience. Still very nostalgic for me, and is very nice to look back on, but bro that shit was so wild lmao

I remember when my friend first showed me one of them hacked movesets that allows you to fly into the air and chokeslam your opponent down to the floor. I jaw hit the floor when Chica from fnaf lift John cena up from the ring to the top of the hell in a cell and slam me onto the cell 🤣

There was something SO addicting about these games. I remember back in the day you could even defend your created belts online. Man would it hurt your pride if you lost the belt to a rando.

Will never forget one of my last online matches. WWE2K17 and my opponent had a glitched HIAC superkick. Over and over and over again..total bummer.

I remember the pain of SvR 07 on 360 that made me hate playing online. Fast forward to 2K14 and nothing changed. Fast forward again to 2K22 and nothing changed. I love playing proper matches online but fuck trying to play pubs that shit will always be cringe

For anyone that plays 2K22 online does the stomp glitch still happen where they can endlessly stomp you because that's why I stopped playing online I enjoyed playing against other players but once I realized they would just keep using that same move I got very tired of it very fast

The online servers were cool and very welled created and fixed up to 2004-2022. 2022 was the year that the servers were broken and continues to kick us out and continues cancelling the matches. The servers were absolute garbage and uncared about, is why someone like the Yuke and his team should completely step in and take complete control over making the WWE games so they can finally fix everything including the servers. 2K somehow got sued a few weeks ago for something.
@WrestlinGifs Жыл бұрын
lol no, that’s just nostalgia the servers have always been cooked. WWE 13 u couldn’t even save your progress. You would lose your record and de rank everytime u logged off
@metalgearsnakefan2003 Жыл бұрын
@@WrestlinGifsoh, i never played WWE 13, but i did play WWE 2K14 before. i did find out yesterday in this video that the servers didn't kick anyone out til WWE 2K22. The 2K executives made the developers rush the 2K team to only earn millions of easy dollars. i did search up in google that they somehow got sued a few weeks ago about theft and unlawful business practices.

bruh at first I wasn't so sure how your reaction gon be afterall but I was highly intrigued to say the least and man, I gotta say you definitely share my opinion when it comes down to the WWE online gaming community, the literal gamebreaking flaws and sheer sweatyness of those fvcking tryhards lmfao even tho I started playing WWE games o0nline the first time in 2022 this year wit WWE 2K22 cuz I never like connected my PS2 to the internet ( :( ) I know exactly how you feel and coming back as a grown man after 10+ years to these games 'cause SmackDown! vs. RAW 2011 was also the last WWE game I played b4 this year :D great video my man, love your content, you know wuzzup man, I knew I couldn't be the only one thinking that it is absolutely horrible, a sheer test of your own inner strength, will and emotions every single goddamn FREAKIN' time and that there are sooooo many fvckin tryhards exploiting the dirtiest shit as if their lives depend on it or like it is some sort of esport or something haha

Most of my experience that just made me avoid it all together, was you go into a match, it’s triple threat and your thinking it’s all fair, nope it’s secretly a handicap match
@MysticalHeartless Жыл бұрын
During the PS3 days, I welcomed those secret handicaps. I was an absolute BEAST back then, ranked top 200 every game no hacks. Teamers like that were always trash and easy to pounce. I miss those days.
