With the falafel, I am sure the black licorice flavoring is coming from fennel that is in a lot of types of falafel! 🥙 Thanks so much for trying vegan/vegetarian dishes!!

Definitely agree! I’m veggie and I appreciate seeing the things that I personally would actually eat 😊

Great video! (1) My ride-themed restaurant idea would be based on Its a Small World and probably be a buffet. (2) Even though you primarily do dining reviews, it’d be hysterical to watch you and Ryan try a Disney fishing excursion sometime! 😂

Hey! Thank you for all your insights, and your adventures into plant based options at Disney. The "licorice" flavor in the falafel is probably anise. Falafel differs on region/culture, etc. Thanks again, Kristen!

Why not ask the server to speak with the cooks to see if the chicken dish changed or not? That would have been useful to know. Also good for the cooks to know the dish isn’t anywhere close to acceptable.

Ate at Skippers Canteen couple years back. Menu has likely changed since, but the dinning experience was less than great, both in level of service and quality of the dish served.

They actually do rotate the soup here. It was a Chickpea soup before. Not a daily rotation..but they do seem to be vegan or vegetarian soups.

You think you are cold in florida. In Michigan it has been 5 degrees to 30 degree with windchills being in the negatives.

Was in the adventurers club on the last day. Just OK. 4 days 3 nights a Ft Wilderness. No sleep due to construction and many comfort stations were down (much walking) at 5 AM. Paradisio 37, Yachtsman, Biergarten and McDonalds. Paradisio was the best food.

I work at a restaurant that uses those dang finicky take-out boxes. My pro tip is, when you fasten the “latch”, I always fold it up to try and ensure more safety of the boxes not opening.

Kristen, it looks like they forgot to fry your chicken. Kind of odd.

Fried chicken should *NEVER* be that color. Very unappetizing. My son had the fried chicken on the kids menu there and it was a much better color and hot and crunchy and delicious. We loved the vegetarian curry stew and the lamb chops (on the menu at that time) were flavorful and cooked perfectly. I also tried the specialty orange drink (shared with my son) and it tastes just like an orange creamsicle. We have loved Skipper Canteen in the past, but if I (or my child) was served chicken that looked like that I don’t think we would go back. 🥴

16:23 Fried chicken or anything fried, should never be that pale.
@wrightdownmainstreet17 минут бұрын
I believe they use rice flour so it’s typically more pale but that was a little too pale 😅

Liberty Tree is also my number 1. I do love those chocolate bananas and Brazilian cheese bread from Skippers though. Khaki is bland and boring get it?

That 🐔! 🤮 I've seen better from Tysons multipacks for like $8 a bag. They're clearly cheating out on their sit-down restaurants lately. And if they were charging under $15 like at Chili's it would be one thing, but for $30 there should Not be an off day.

That chicken dish doesn’t look appetizing to me. No thank you.
