“Fiction mirrors reality.” What a great way to tap into emotions and write from a perspective of personal experiences to convey sentiments or passions. Thanks!

Yes, I completely agree. I am Dave Prince, author of The Ancient World mega-multi-series. Main series: The Ancient World 1-4 Prequels (in order): Chronicum 1-3 The Barbarians 1-3 The Queen’s War 1-3 Abrax: Age of Legends 1-3 Prophecy of Three Suns 1-3 Short Stories of the Ancient World 1 Ancient Journals 1 Sequels (in order): Adventures of the Ancient World 1-3 The Children’s War 1-3 An Ancient World: Epoch 1 Sophia’s Garden 1-3 The Ancient Codex 1 I use scrivener for my drafting. Well, I am drafting the first book of the main series. I have a system of 1,200 words daily, to complete my first draft by end of Q1 2025, I can revise in Q2, final draft in Q3, and edit in Q4, having a fully prepared manuscript. I anticipate to begin querying an agent by Q3 because I know it can take months. The Ancient World is the future of literature entertainment and media production. We can finally retire the dead-and-over-recycled stories from IPs beating a dead horse trying to stay alive. I know the right agent will see my passion, and the right House will see the vision my agent lays out through my passion. I figure a meagre 50k advance would be sufficient for a first drop. I am sure the world will rave for it once its out there, and marketed properly. The Ancient World (main series) is a story of brutal, merciless survival. In a world decimated, only a handful of youth remain alive. These young teens must learn to overcome a post-apocalyptic medieval world, whilst fighting the patrolling demons that still wander the lands. The teens, with no proper parental guidance but themselves to learn from, in a world that has been destroyed by previous generations, must figure out how to build a new world for themselves, find hope in each other, and find a way to make a better world. Now, the main characters is actually a triplet of boys. The boys are the last children of Emperor Axe, who we see Axe’s childhood and upbringing to kinghood and the death of his queen his childhood lover through his father’s nemesis; King Bardador warred with King Abrax for centuries, eventually killing King Abrax and then after Axe became king King Bardador kills the queen after violating her body sending the young King Axe in a decades long mission to destroy all Barbarian society across the plains and mountains. Of course, the prophecy of three suns happens millions of years before the modern age of Abrax where the original triplets of the Creator sacrificed their bodies to create three suns to light to all lands across the universe. It is the prophecy now Emperor Axe wanted to replicate with making the ritual of three with his new wife to create triplets. But it’d be sacrilegious to do, which Emperor Axe did do. One of many reasons he became Beltax the Defiler servant of the Lord Sanuxe main nemisis of Amon Heim the Christ figure of the book universe. Its quite something. Well, its the future of literature entertainment. The prequels take a look at one of the triplets, who returned to earth realm, come back with his grandson and its sort of a childrens fantasy like The Hobbit. Then the childrens war is just when the children are all grown up and ruling kingdoms again and need to travel to Gehana to defeat a demon worse than Sanuxe’s army: pure darkness. The Epoch is sort of a ‘golden era’ book of the children being kings and queens with lots of world building and exposition. Sophias garden… is something else. It takes place 10,000 years after the main series. Anyway, hopefully by next winter my agent will find the House that is meant for me and sees the book and will meet my standards. Hope I find the right agent come this time next year.
