Still, the eyes seem (he said with fingers crossed) not to be deteriorating so much now that I'm having regular injections, so I'm hopeful! All very best wishes.

This was a good reminder for me to recheck Amazon and I'm glad to report, One Last Dance is now available to me in NZ. :) I just bought it, but I have to say I'm disappointed with Amazon's "follow" feature. I sort of naively assumed they would notify me when an author I follow publishes something new.

So sorry to hear about your vision. Diabetes is such a sneaky, insidious disease. If it doesn't get us one way, it finds another. I'm down to one leg and one eye. The eye is much more worrisome. And the reason I now read more e-books than paper and ink ones.

Oh, I'm with you there, James. The eyes are definitely concerning. Maculopathy is a horrible disease - is that what you have too? I'm intrigued by some recent enhancements to eye treatments, though. I'm on Eylea once a month, but there's a new version which uses a stronger dose that requires only one treatment every three months and seems to have vastly better effect. Keep well, my friend.
