To be honest... the wheel companies actually don't even make very much money. They're all just above the black... that's why the wheels are so expensive. Their costs for manufacturers, employees, constant new designs, better tech... is very very costly. These companies really need to slow it the heck down and just hone in on what they already have... slow it down. They're digging themselves a hole

About Inmotion. I am 63yo and bought my first wheel last fall, And it was V13. No troubles learning contrary to everyone's advice (obviously I am not anywhere near as good as yourself but I am comfortable). Granted I am a heavy guy at 96 kilos and very little fat. So I had no problems with the wheel weight. Since last fall I've put 8000km on it and I loved it except the range. No problems with the wheel at all except developing some creaking. I would've serviced it but I since tested Lynx and bought it because it is still big and has way better suspension and range despite smaller battery. So from Inmotion I want V13 with Sherman L range, suspension and weight. But keep the form factor. That would be pretty exciting for me.

Are there any probability of seeing the wheel with a built-in car charging port? The 20amp charger is around $500 anyway. So, additional cost for the integrated j1772 will not scare potential customer. I think it's unfortunate that many reviewers and riders don't give much credit to or even put down RGB lighting and speakers....lighting for sure. For those of us who predominantly ride in cities and who do a lot of night riding, visibility is a huge safety factor. Of course a lot of that visibility should be handled with whatever we are wearing, but truly there can't be enough. I loved the additional blinking red headlights that Veteran put on the Sherman Max, and while I don't necessarily need my EUC to look like a party bus, I miss the option of RGB lights that dominated the wheels from 3-5 years ago. Speakers aren't really a safety enhancement when dealing with cars, but letting people know you're coming when riding on bicycle paths or pedestrian walkways is extremely helpful and safer for them. I was recently in a pretty horrible accident with a car that didn't see me (despite all my high vis everything). The guy pulled right in front of me when I was going high speed on my max and I ended up with a broken femur and shattered wrist. Three weeks in the hospital and 6-8 months of recovery. Sooooo, for me at least, I wish all the manufacturers would bring back integrated lighting and speakers on their wheels.

Next wheels should focus on the bullet-proof safety and durability of the current iterations instead of focusing on smaller and lighter wheels. Veteran implemented the hall-sensor fail safe which even works after coming to a full stop and they are even integrating that feature into the rest of the wheels. My Kingsong S22(pro) almost burned it's motherboard and lead into a crash due to the phase cable getting loose reducing the contact area of the current. It's infuriating to experience that kind of engineering failures on a wheel you ride at 50km+. It's insane they use plug style phase cables vertically in a high vibration system. Looks like F22 doesn't seem to address that fail. Next wheels should focus on not having compromised waterproofing or inheriting the chronic issues from previous iterations.

YES. Absolutely 'Sherman Junior' has been my want for the longest time. I absolutely can't find joy in wheels over 32kg as they don't integrate with my life. 18XL is my forever standard weight: range wheel giving me easy 80km on a charge on a 26kg machine. I have the Falcon now which is my dedicated safety wheel (wet/ pothole roads) , but the 45km range is limiting and in my experience/use suspension is niche - an amenity not a necessity. To be real, if Begode would make their own rendition of a smaller lighter 2020 Sherman and categorize it into their "A-Series" that would be my dream come true. I personally like 2.75-14 for cruising, but can get on board with smaller diameter wheels if the weight matches. 100V, 100km+ range,

Do you open up the battery pack, cut through the shrink wrap, change a cell, rewrap,... ? Can you do that yourself? Or who will provide that service? And is a smart BMS able to self diagnose like on every startup, or do you have to check this yourself in the app each time you go riding?

I wonder if these manufacturers understand what its like going from a v5f to preordering a Lynx, to like 7 wheels all getting announced while youre waiting for it, one of which that is very easy to initially perceive as a direct upgrade to the Lynx. My local retailer in Australia is going to start seriously skimming down on the amount of SKUs they keep stocked and the manufacturers honestly need to start doing the same, there's too many products coming out constantly and everyone tells you to *not* buy batch 1 of anything, this isnt a market in shambles but its not a super healthy market either. I also agree we need more smaller wheels, I love my v5f but even just slight improvements to that formfactor would easily get me to dish out 1-2k. What we really need is a new competitor to come in and shake everything up, current manufacturers seem too comfortable and complacent.

The most of new wheels are seem to be reactionary products in order to grab some market share. Even all of what LeaperKim does is just iterations of all their previous models. I'd like something actually new, not in the specs, but in spirit and purpose. Like mten and v13 were.
@RogueTravel4 ай бұрын
Lynx was new. Sherman L is not. Eight months later and still not even LeaperKim can beat the Lynx. Begode/Extreme Bull hopefully will beat it soon

You are totally wrong about E20. It is not a 10 inch wheel, but that's a 20 inch wheel. Because it has two tires, each of them 10 inch. 🤪

Great video as always! Bro! If you are collabing with Begode to make new wheel - i hope it's something in ~1000Wh range and around or under 25kg heavy. I would LOVE to see a centered carry handle like old KS 14/16/18 had.. I still main KS18XL, it's just awesome commuter! I would love to replace it with something bit faster, or something that has more torque! I don't need range at all - i want awesome powerful wheel at light weight. 😃 KS18XL with Smart BMS and SOLID strong axle, also water rating = insta buy from me!!! But it needs to be under 25kg!

Blitz's weight and speed seem to be similar to master's, am I wrong? So what's the point of that wheel?
@chris96604 ай бұрын
Master V4 is 43kg, Blitz is 35.9. They are world different.

i am in doubt bout t4 vs extreme, i dont want more weight, but i feel the t4 will not hold up the torque i want or even be stable at 60kmh ( i own an MSP 100V HT)

I'd like suspension and low weight. I know the s18 had issues, but it was 50lbs

How about this for a wish list item. A battery cell chemistry that is literally incapable of starting on fire. Since that doesn't really exist yet, I do think Inmotion was on to something with their potted cells in the V13, except maybe a solution that isn't quite so heavy. If the community got behind buying wheels that were a bit slower but a lot safer, you could get away with a adding a smaller battery pack capacity, but adding the potting so that in the event of a fire, the wheel doesn't go up like an hellish inferno that starts everything around it on fire too. I'd feel a lot better storing the wheel in my house and office if it was completely incapable of starting on fire. There have been a lot fewer fires as of late, but there's always a chance that some internal damage or water intrusion, or simply just a bad cell or a controller issue, will set the thing ablaze.

When is the last time you heard of a wheel catching on fire? What model? Something obsolete, nobody's wheels are catching on fire.
@AJames-jr8kw4 ай бұрын
Begode made some LFP battery EUCs. They even did a nail puncture test video and there was no fire. But the batteries had only about 2/3 the electrical capacity of normal cells and so no-one wanted it so it got canned.

Funny that you find the ShermanL boring. I do so too, but for the opposite reason: you dont was more weight and size and battery, i wanted them to make an 8P Lynx (5600wh) . Instead they made a 6P Lynx, which is barley more then the ShermanS, which means that with that much more power,the range will probably be even lower for me. And i already kill the ShermanS battery in under 70km /1.5h . So, give me a 50kg 5600wh leaperkim please

Tbh the e20 doesn't need more than 2000km life if it's gonna be used to teach people how to ride.
@jurijstorozuk61704 ай бұрын
So 4kwh at 46kg is heavy and not precise, while 3kwh and 50kg is just the best 😀
@mr_wrongway4 ай бұрын
It’s not. The suspension system and weight distribution on Sherman’s make them a lot tougher to control than the et max :/
@jurijstorozuk61704 ай бұрын
@@mr_wrongway Welp, thanks for the explanation. I personally bought a SS just recently and am loving it. Started with a v11 previous summer, after 2.5k km sold and got a patton, rode 1k and sold it this summer (did not like it). Personally i think i you have a SS, no real need to upgrade to a SL. Would love try out the et max, nobody has one in Latvia.

……Make a wheel where you can replace the batteries….. kind of like Inmotion???😊
@Index-o12344 ай бұрын
I reached my limit at the OG V-13. Dispite the extended distances, faster charging times and improved torquiness that came afterwards.....not much has changed expect the price. Come on people lets make this bad boy an actual self balancing vehicle!! Let add quick Change Swappable battery packs like those on the electric forklifts at my job..They run iut of juice you disconnect it pull it off and drop in the new one. Ready to go again for another 8 hour shift.. Yes we can!! 😂
@kostyarogers4 ай бұрын
You have a peculiar logic in certain places. For instance, claiming there is nothing exciting in Extreme Bull vs Lynx. Well, if the ride and quality are about the same, then the price difference alone should elevate the excitement to an orgasmic level.

Inmotion has been a nightmare for me. My v13 has cut out 4 times even after software updates with inmotion addressing the said issues. This wheel is starting to hurt me lol goodbye inmotion hello begode et max

Am i the only one that prefers wheels without suspension? I love being 100% connected to the ground i like feeling all the bumps. I have an rs19 hs and a v11. The Rs is so much more fun and safer to me. I can instantly jump potholes and obstacles ! I cant jump over shhhhiii with the v11 😂
