I was too young to truly appreciate Raven during his WCW days. He never got a real chance in WWE. It was his run in TNA that made me a huge Raven fan. Then when The Network became a thing, I rewatched his WCW stuff and loved it. Raven was awesome!

Raven back ECW was on a totally different level. He was so far ahead of the time. It literally took the rest of the industry 10 years to catch up to what he was doing.

Not gonna sugar coat it: When he said, "My brain is wired wrong. I'm damaged." This perfectly sums up why I (and some of my closest friends) were always egging the Heels on at live shows, to do their WORST to the Baby-Face, and if possible... the referees. I think that (the best Heels) kinda understood that, and didn't get offended by it. Yes, we were cheering them on, while the rest of the crowd was booing them.... so, they could "play up" to us while maintaining their Heel persona, AND getting the rest of the crowd to boo the shit out of them. Meanwhile, me and my friends were the most rabid in the crowd. It just worked.
