And to make matters worse it's literally in the PSN ToS to use your real info and to never use a VPN, or they reserve the right to permanently ban you and revoke access to all yours PSN-affiliated games. PSN blocks people in most countries (only 73/193 countries in the world have PSN), so their only alternative to getting banned after the PSN account becomes mandatedis to use a VPN and use fake info.... Which is still a bannable offense to SONY. So you can't even make a dummy account to satisfy SONY.

Maybe the snow armor is only stealthy on snow planets, like they said. I assume the standard detection perk would apply to any planet. Servo assist helps for range when stealthy, since you can long range throw a bunch of grenades or flash bangs before engaging, throw an orbital barrage from much further away, or throw a sentry to a more distant advantageous position. Then, since you're out of sight range, you can just go to a different location while said barrage / sentry go to work. Armor stealth being tied to one specific biome type seems unusual though. Makes you wonder if that will become more of a thing, or if some hidden armor passives already exist relating to camo visibility... and if it could be compounded with the existing stealth perk in some armor sets.

That's not how it works. nProtect has access. AH and Sony have no control. It's a third-party software they implemented to the game. I've seen videos demonstrating that armor color and plating location does have a an effect on the game. These are undocumented effects except from play testing videos from the community. Plating on one arm but not the other will reduce damage on the one, but not the other. Color affects aggro calculations. The pack for the armor is seperate like Extra Padding is its own modifier that is documented. This ties in with what the devs said about no transmogs.

Arrowhead needs to set up the ability for helmets to have mods and set camos/paints for armors which also have some degree of an effect on armor. Armor itself should have mostly stay with the effects it has now but you could say increase elemental resistance with a ceramic coating paint or something of the sort. Or maybe improve stealth effects with a camo matching the environment

For me the linking part isn't too bad. The really shit part is that so many countries do not have PSN support, such as the Baltic states, the whole of Africa apart from Egypt and South Africa, and a few countries in South East Asia like the Philippines to name a few. The game was sold on steam in these countries who will soon be barred from playing at all, unless they register in a neighbouring country that is supported, but they run the risk of getting their account banned for this anyway. It's a foolish decision for Sony to Make and ultimately shoots them in the foot in the long run.
