Interesting to hear about “phantom blocks” in a video. It’s a very real thing and I had no idea there was terminology for it

I haven't watched all of your analysis videos yet but I'm making my way through. The short videos with a bite-sized, concise analysis of what exactly is going on in a point are my favorite, as they point out the little things that the players are doing to generate the obvious, on-field blocks, scores, or throws that are getting. I'm a firm believer that there are so many little things that players (average players, not "crazy-athletic" players) can do to significantly imrpove their game. These videos are exactly what I've been looking for to point these things out. Thank you.

Very nice analysis. On both the long Japanese passes I that lead to turnovers I thought the Japanese guy should've made a bid to catch. Both were floaty sort of passes. In the end, the decision not to bid always leads to a turnover, so what have you go to lose? It's the final of the World Championships, got to give your all.

Question : pardon my ignorance ("noob" question), but just to check. I do play a little, and I know what a "turnover" is (I think). So every pull, all the points .. EVERY POSSESSION until one team got to 15 .. which 15-12 plus 9 turns, sooooo .. 15 + 12 + 9 = 36 chances to score (I think?). AND world class defense trying to stop a score, to get a turn .. And they had only NINE (9) turns?

Hi Alex, yes one of the reasons it was a remarkable game was due to the low number of turnovers. Low turnover games like these do happen at the top level, but less than ten in a game is remarkable.
