I took the pain staking time to create a universe that started in 2000, and I’ve actually had the best time just fantasy booking. It’s crazy how accurate the feel and look are for most of it to be custom creations. It’s my favorite wrestling game in years

Depending on which games you’re comparing. SVR 05 Vs 2k18, hell yeah. But if you’re comparing something like SVR 08 to like 2k22 or 14, then nah.

I like the faster movement and intelligent a.i. in 2K23. But there are things that unnecessarily slow the movement like fighting stances and locking up before grapples. They need to go. I miss simulation mini-games like chain wrestling, rest holds, ignoring submission ropebreak, crawling during submissions. They need to come back. 2K23 movement speed with realism would be the greatest.

2k22 and 23 both lackluster as always. The biggest problem with the 2k series as a whole. Is they arent made by devs who really love wrestling. It felt like the SVR games were done with so much care. Not even just the SvR series, but smackdown HCTP is still the goat in most people eyes. 2k series is still lacking so much. It just doesn't feel like the devs have their hand on the pulse of the wrestling business. This is why GM mode isnt what it was. This is why most things the implement are half-assed.

You can still break the ring. you have to be using two super heavyweights and get your opponent to yellow torso damage before throwing him in the corner. do the superplex and you'll get the broken ring animation.

The constant music in showcase mode ruins the whole immersion Also online is so fucking bad because of the servers. When the ping is good and the servers don t crash it s fun as hell, but they crash MOST OF THE FUCKING TIME

Yeah, everytime I leave the game I have to close it all down or risk losing everything I worked so hard to do and then there's the showcase mode, How do you make a match between my favourite version of The Undertaker vs my favourite version of John Cena suck? I know make me have to guess when I can reverse John Cena's strikes and have him DO NOTHING BUT GRAPPLES!
