There’s always WWE Battlegrounds! …if you like 200 characters who all play the exact same and you have to unlock through mass amounts of grinding and/or microtransactions

2k Battlegrounds isn't as good as this, but it does capture some of the fun of this game, I'd recommend giving it a quick look.

@Christian Neal It's that good that someone needed to steal it? Got to watch out for Kleptos. My friends are all my age so I don't really need to worry too much about them stealing stuff but that doesn't mean I don't keep my eye out lol.

@Christian Neal They do have the 2 Legends games on PS2 as well.. I only had the first one. Another game that represents the that old school is Battle Grounds which I also have been haven't played it. Bought WWE 2K 22 for $20 but the reviews, graphics and gameplay showed it wasn't great but I still have it. The next retro wrestling game that is coming out that I myself am VERY interested in is Wrestle Quest. xD OH! btw there is a wrestling game on the store called Retro Mania as well. looks decent, has LOD and Blue Meanie from ECW ect. You might be interested in that as well.

@Christian Neal There are 4 -WrestleMania 2000 and WCW/NWO Revenge for the Nintendo 64 but these are home console wrestling games. there is another called WWF No Mercy. Same platform, and all published by THQ, but I never played NM unfortunately but it plays with the same formula as the before mentioned. The other 2 are WWF SuperStars of Wrestling and WrestleFest in which these are arcade only. And yes, I am old enough to have spent all my allowances on video arcade machines! LOL SuperStars only had 6 characters... Hulk Hogan, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Honky Tonk man, Macho Man Randy Savage, Big Boss Man, and The Ultimate Warrior. And it played amazing. After that came out WrestleFest hit the arcade and had a 4 player cabinet with a bigger roster and great graphics. it had... Demolition, Mr. Prefect, Big Boss Man, Sgt. Slaughter, ect. my personal Favorite was Earthquake. You can YT some footage of all these.

@Christian Neal I never really got the chance to pick up any wrestling games for the PS1 era but I know Smackdown is highly regarded by most gamers in that genre. If you are fortunate to still have your PS1/PS3 and/or N64 you will have a great time revisiting those games. Retro gaming can tend to get expensive depending on still in the package/new/popularity/demand as my WWF All Stars was $25 but I was so happy to finally get it as I have found myself going back to my PS3 and playing older games besides wrestling. The issue is for the PS3 games, if there was/is any dlc there is no longer a means to obtain it because they stopped support for PS3 and all online services for it back in May 2022 I believe. But for all others the games come complete as there was no such thing at the time.
