Great show. Austin losing to Foley was the right call. HhH wasn't ready, listen to the crickets the next night on Raw when he won the title. Triple H wasn't a made man until his matches with Cactus, tho he'll never admit that. In his mind, HHH was the biggest star ever.

I honestly believe Russo regarding the Austin/Rock/Mankind WrestleMania XV match. The fact that Mick was the guest ref in that match kinda proves it. Now, I’m kinda glad it was just Austin/Rock, but if Mick was gonna be in a WrestleMania main event, that was the time to do it. The following year, it came across more shoehorned with that Fatal Four Way Match.

Even JR said the exact same thing. Foley was to be there in a triple threat for WM15. JR also said he agreed with Michaels that it should be one on one. So it probably was both of them saying that to Vince Mc. Austin also vetoed losing to Triple H at Summerslam. He knew he would be away with his injuries for a while after the match and didn't want to put someone fresh like Triple H over. Just an ego thing and Austin had a lot of clout backstage. They didn't know what to do for a couple weeks. Thats why Mankind was eventually put in. Austin and Mick are good friends

This was Ken Shamrock's final WWE PPV appearance ever, I was a big fan of his and was sorry to see him leave.
