i understand.. but I will choose caruana to face carlsen in wwc..because in classical chess caruana has better overall performance compared to all the others candidates.. even carlsen said among all players, he will choose fabi in first place .. second is ding and third is mvl.. and i know ding and mvl is more powerful in rapid and blitz compared to caruana but it only happed if they can draw all 6 games against carlsen

Not sure if he will win since he is still -1 after 3 rounds, but I really do HOPE he will win. I really don't want to see Carlsen vs caruanas prep again and Caru losing in faster time controls. If ding can win this, it will be so damn epic, would be one of the all time great tournament wins and comebacks of all time, especially considering how he defeated caruanas prep in round 3. That makes ding 3-0 vs caruana in their last 3 classical games played. And you say ding has a good score vs Carlsen aswell? There you go. Ding is 2800 and rank 3 for a reason.
