WWZ Aftermath - Easiest Way to Unlock Iron Man Frame with Vanguard - Battle of Arizona Update

Sorry for spamming videos today, but after the last video, I saw this post on reddit (credits to undefined314, link in description) which shows that hits on Vanguard shield doesn't count as damage taken. This means it is actually easier to clear this with Vanguard class, which works for those players who don't have Medic class or Revolver levelled, or the Bustler perk unlocked. Using Looter + 4 shield charges, the shield regenerates quickly enough for you to stand in a corner and wait out the objective timer. Just be mindful of zeke slaps while traversing between objectives - try to use shield charge or deplete your shield block to get some temp health to play it safe. Key points: 1) All mutators can be used to unlock frames. 2) Damage through temp health is okay, as long as no actual health is lost. 3) Damage through Vanguard shield is okay, as long as no actual health is lost. 4) Bots are bugged and can cause you to have damage taken even when no health is lost.

I think the Medic Class method is the best. You can safely use the Stim pistol all the time and zombies will not react to you. I went through it very quickly and everything worked perfectly. Thank you!!!

@@Lawshimitsu maybe after some minor updates they turned off the ability to get frames in missions using perks that you configure for missions, I'll have to check that.

I actually used this technique. It took me serveral tries as I was not used to the Vanguard class but it worked like a charm!

How do you hold the shield? I never really use VG so it's something that amazed me when I watch this vid after the medic version.

Hey would you say that light melees are a better "general" melee weapon for reload animation cancel and quick pushback, than the baton for the stuns?

Yeah! That's what I usually use. Also, since Baton can't stun Juggs, it isn't as good anymore.

You need to add the mutator "Looter" to allow your shield to recharge and you can only do this in a private lobby. Remember to turn bots off as well.

@@Réda-r1g Yeah, PS5, extreme, private lobby with mutators, solo no bots. Once you've done that you should get the frame and you can play co-op.

It will be difficult offline since there will be bots and they are bugged, causing you to have damage taken even when no health is lost.
