When Tom died, I was gutted for a year. I lost a close friend to cancer a year previous, and Tom was like my idol, so I was reliving that trauma alongside one of my heroes passing away. I kind of stopped listening to their music because it tore me up. I stopped listening to a lot of music because a lot of what I listened to was Architects. Holy Hell came out, and it was amazing. It revitalized my love for music. I wasn't a huge fan of this first listen. I still had a good time with it, but after a few days it might be my most listened song of the year. I'm so excited for the next album. Any chance ya'll will do a full album review of it when it drops?

What a great summarisation for what is going to be the new chapter of Architects. Gunna go out on a limb and say you were referring to AA when talking about bands that stopped caring. Completely agree with you on everything you had to say. LT//LF is my favorite album of all time and I don't think this will ever change. Colony Collapse still touches a part of my soul to this day. Castles in the air is my favorite song, probably ever, by any band. To me, Castles in the air is just the simplest remembrance that everything that happens to you in life, you inflicted upon yourself unconsciously. And I believe the only self-fulfilling purpose to life is to grow from that unconscious state of who you are and to become who "you" really "are" ("being" is a concept - if I make sense). All our Gods was filled with angst and was thoroughly a brilliant album touching on some of the most complex dilemmas of modern society. Memento Mori and the discovery of Alan Watts changed me forever. Beautiful, heartfelt masterpiece. Holy Hell was a great album, but only the title track got me listen to a song on repeat on that album. This one I'm quite happy about. Because, unlike Holy Hell, this one sounds like Architects to me. And it sounds amazing! I quite enjoy seeing that they have a whole new sound they can leverage from to bring their message to a wider audience, and am definitely looking forward to see this one being played live. The synths in this can definitely bring some heaviness to pits.

I agree. It doesn't feel like a sellout. Kt feels like a genuine new chapter. And it's the same feeling I had when Parkway Drive started leaning into arena metal and balad metal influences on IRE or BMTH started doing a new sound almost every record after Suicide Season. Sure, BMTH kept the heavy for a while but you could tell Oli wanted to try new sounds with songs like Don't Go, And the Snakes Start To Sing. And that's why their new project POST HUMAN sounds genuine and is such a fun record. I remember all the hate they got for TTS and amo, I remember thw hate Parkway got for IRE but I genuinely love it when a band is passionate about experimenting with sound. It shows they aren't afraid to step outside their comfort zone, and that they aren't just trying to milk the same old sound over and over.

This was really cool to watch. It was great kinda hanging out with you guys. This is my 1st Archetects song… stumbled on the song on KZbin as I did with you guys…really like them. Do you have any recommendations on other good heavy songs they have? Thx for the video!🤘🤘

lost forever // lost together is such an incredible album. Wasn't into Holy Hell too much but as Metalbirb said this is made to be an arena anthem. Will be interesting to hear the rest of the album. Love this song though,

I love hard and heavy songs, but not that much with screaming, so this song is the perfect deal. Not to say that I don't like screaming sometimes, but it's very rare.
