This guy is the best trainer on KZbin. No bullshit and tells it like it is and doesn’t care if he ruffles any soft ass people’s feathers. All I know is since I’ve been following him for the past year and implementing some of his training methods I’ve made improvements. I agree when I jumped on gear my training got harder because I felt like if I’m putting gear in my body I better fucking push myself to the limit to get the most out of it.

11:46 Mike is right about not overhead pressing. One of the only you tubers who knows how to avoid a common weight room pitfall. Physical theripits have known for decades not to push heavy weights overhead as it pushes the shoulder tendon up into the acronium. The answer is to do shoulder raises instead.

Thx bro, first time commenting. I typically don’t take the time to do so. However, I’ve been training for about 25yrs and I just turned 50. Like you I’m not to concerned w how much weight I throw around or how pretty I look. I still take gear and had about an 8yr period being natty and the last 3yrs bk on and feel great again. I get regular blood work and stay away from too many orals that are hard on my kidneys and liver etc. But anyway, not that you care it’s nice to just mix in some of your theories along w what works for me but most importantly most channels tend to either be one or the other, being looking pretty and lean or lifting heavy and strong. Your exactly like me bro. I love to train, love being strong, my body still surprises me by changing things up, which is EXACTLY what you do for me. If I were able to articulate and have my own channel it wld be like yours bro. So anyway, I just wanted to say thanks man. From a former, bodybuilder, power lifter and fighter and now just an old gym rat who will train forever THANK YOU!

I have 2 knackered shoulders so can't move any where near weight for pressing but find a pec dec fly then incline machine where can tuck elbows in then move into a low incline dumbell fly for 8-12 reps then without rest and go straight into dumbell press for same reps keep it slow. Actually get more out of this now than when lifting a lot more. Injuries taught me to adapt and lift smart
