$10,000 for their mid-range table would be better spent invested in a nice index fund. 20 years from now that investment will triple in value. Unfortunately, the table will depreciate, and will eventually be sold for $200 at an estate sale by your kids when you pass on.
@bnorberg9885 жыл бұрын
@@TheDudeAbides-247 Certainly true. Of course the table may be a a better investment than 99% of the cars out there. Just take a look at Antiques Roadshow. This table is arguably a work of art, and has very low production numbers. In 20 years you may have stayed evenish or gained. I doubt you can say that about a 2019 Hyundai Sonata. And when you factor in insurance maintenance and gas,....well cars are money losers. Of course the real question is; Which will bring you better memories? It's a personal lifestyle choice. Game playing with your friends or driving a car. I'll take my friends, the table, and a bicycle.

This is a piece of fine furniture made from solid hardwood(and lots of it), has a custom mechanical lift, some pretty hard to find features as well as a lot of design. Oh, It's also made in the US. Try to find a quality solid walnut dining table for under $3,000, you will get what you pay for. And to those saying they would DIY one, give it a shot! It can be done and it's a very rewarding endeavor but it's also very expensive, time consuming and labor intensive. Bottom line is this, some people think a fancy sport car with all the bells and whistles is a waste of money. Some people see the value in the high performance and are willing to pay for it. This isn't a table made for everyone and you should be OK with that. They aren't ripping anyone off, it's fairly priced, and they offer tables that meet all your gaming needs while sporting a much lower price tag.
