China won the bronze medal in gymnastics at the Sydney Olympics in 2000, but were stripped of the medal after it was revealed that the gymnast Dong Fangxiao was under the minimum age of 16. And they would have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for those medalling kids.

I remember several years ago I'd mentioned to my wife I wanted a Wrymwood dice tray but at the time we had a much tighter budget. She ends up getting me an Etsy knockoff for X-Mas which was super nice and thoughtful, and significantly cheaper. Cut to 2 months later when the weather/humidity changed and the tray warped so badly it basically destroyed itself. Wrymwood is more expensive because it's a quality product designed to last. All the big brands had tiny screens with some store bought android interface and maybe one model that was electric that could go 100 miles. I love not having gauges, having one giant screen and being electric, now with gas at almost $6 a gallon saving me a $100 every fill up. Tesla has also been working on improving their build quality, while I would love to see more competitors in the electric vehicle market the big brands also have far to go but both Tesla and the big brands are trying to fix their weak points which in the end is good for the customers.

I’m one of the European Backer of your Modular gaming table and I’m very very happy and proud of my purchase, but I received It in June 2023. This DM screen is available also in Amazon Europe and cost 599€, not cheap at all, but from my point of view, and I think of many other D&D addicted gamers, this chinese item is quite interesting for 3 basic reasons: 1) quality is not bad at all, surely not at your level, but better than expected, seen you video 2) It is ready to ship and available in 2/3 weeks 3) It is a one item ready-to-use solution with no needs of adding something else. I would like to purchase one of your DM screen, but for European market, this is quite a long way to the top…and taxes and duty do not help your journey! So please Wyrmwood think to a “all in a box” solution that could have a simple expense calculation and that it is ready to ship for you once the order is received! Thank you

Been a minute since the product reviews from back in the day, shame that table they used to do all the leadership meetings as has been kaput for years; nostalgic feel. Edit: not a joke per se, but the idea that a company from a country that's infamous for stealing designs and copying them, badly, would have the balls to then contact you as though they weren't doing what they're doing, and then try to false flatter you into selling them the rights or whatever, at a price they'll probably do everything in their power to lowball you on, is a joke of the highest proportion.

Be careful with the Chinese distribution plan. I was involved with a simular strategy (not furniture/accessories) but another home goods product. What happened was our Chinese counterpart did sell our product but diluted it with locally produced "knock offs". I guarantee that if you start doing this, you will see their product with your label on it. And you will have little to no recourse unless you are willing to spend a lot more money on legal fees than what you could make.

Patent law varies in different countries, and while I am no lawyer, the internet says that under U.S. patent law, you must file your patent application within one year of the first offer to sell your invention, or within one year of your first public use or disclosure of your invention. So for some of your products, you're too late to consider patenting, as it's something that should be considered well in advance of it becoming part of the public domain. Worth considering what you'd do if another company sues you for infringing on their patent, whether justified or not. That process can be very costly, and take years. Some companies will hold a portfolio of patents with the sole reason of defence, to counter-sue or cross-license patents. Besides that, patents are expensive to obtain, and difficult & expensive to enforce. Some patents are over-reaching and once contested, get invalidated in court. All of it requires paying expensive lawyers.
