I never hated Apocalypse. I saw it in theaters.

I think this film was just low stakes, which is lame imo as Apocalypse is a dangerous villain up there with Thanos and it’s a shame it wasn’t as epic as it should’ve been. I think it’s fine, but could’ve been a lot better, I bet Stuckmann was positive cuz he saw it in a quiet theater as he said he saw it in a press screening

Apocalypse is okay, I haven't seen it since the cinema. I honestly prefer Origins Wolverine over Apocalypse.

Definitely overhated but I can still watch it. The last good Fox X-Men movie besides Logan I can watch.

Ayy, good review. Agree regarding the casting big time, the main guys are great but Isaac was a bit off and at this point jennifer lawrence checked out. I don't really like this movie that much, but the 3D is great in it in my opinion so that brings it up a bit for me... I liked First Class and DoFP more, too bad First Class didn't get a 3D version. BTW your voice/audio is a bit quiet this time for the first 10min

Awesome review Kenneth, Apocalypse is the most underrated X men movie it's EPIC and my favourite of the rebooted X men Trilogy hot take I know. Apocalypse is the best X men antagonist no contest, Eric has his most emotional character arc ever. Quicksilver's scene tops even his scene in Days of Future Past, Sophie Turner is the best Jean Grey great to have Rose Bell back too. The everything they've built will fall scene is one of the best X men scenes period and the final battle is the biggest in the franchise!

Was not impressed at the time but recently re watched a 3D Blu ray version and it is not as disappointing as I remembered it but Dark Phoenix and the New Mutants really killed that series
