Maybe it's just me thinking it reminds me so much of a Nintendo Switch boxart with the header and spine, but the simplicity isn't half bad. But understandable compared to other Omnibuses.

The design is the current “design style” for this era of x-men. It matches the OHC released for the other titles.

So as a marvel reader who is familiar with X-Men, and watched the 90s series. Is this a good jumping on point? And if I buy this omnibus what else do I need?

Hey! Late reply, but, I would reccomend starting with House of x / powers of x comic, then buying the omnibus

That’s one weird omnibus design. Cover, spine and back all looks bad. Not a fan of all that red at all. The Red Marvel Omnibus logo on the top of the spine is what pops out usually but now it just blends in with the rest of the red and so it doesn’t look as nice
