When I was working for my previous job, I went to the office around Shin-Yokohama station, one of the Shinkansen-stopping station. At the place, I could see Dr. Yellow, evening, twice a month, which timetable was not open to the public. According to my friend familiar with train, it was so lucky thing.
i dont understand anything in this video but im surprised that japan also transport trains on the streets. i give a like. greetings from Germany btw!

How else are they supposed to do it?
@lazytitan10752 жыл бұрын
@@scwfan08 just have the train itself drive there, build some extra track that leads to the repair center, that is the norm so it is really bizarre seeing trains being trucked across the street.
@3forte2 жыл бұрын
@@lazytitan1075 That train is not operational, doesn't even have wheels. New trains like that and old trains being decommissioned would be transported by trucks. My city did that recently with old train cars, truck them to the scrap yard.

Such deep embedded culture makes the 3 mins cleaning of the toilet + cabinet possible, in some countries they are in such a state used by the passengers will take hours to clean it properly.

as expected of Japan. PERFECTION. 完璧。nothing less.
Beautiful trains. You have to admire the their efficiency in making and operating these trains, I used to work for BREL and they put us in the UK to shame. I wish I knew what is being said but that's my problem.
I’m a Belgian citizen, I travelled in Shinkansen between Tokyo and Kyoto. Marvellous train. It is larger than our speed trains, the isolation is perfect…. And the respect of the timetable is unusual for a European like me! I had the feeling of being in another planet!

I believe India will take chinese way and will buy and develop technologies not trains. PRC is using Japan German and French base technologies of highspeedrailes. And they pick and develop best of them.

Its very unfortunate that we dont have any bullet trains here in america. The only high speed rail we have is along the northeast corridor. I hope more high speed rail gets developed here in the future
