Very nice video! Could you do a video about the matrix light (adaptive high beam) on the X-Trail and the Ariya? I would be very interested in the differences between the two systems! Thanks!
@@荒木大樹-m3lI figured it out! I had the chance to test drive the European Nissan Qashqai. It has a very similar, reflector based design, with some for the low beam and two for the high beam, just like the X-Trail. What I didn't know: In those two reflectors for the high beam are sitting two LED clusters. One has 6 LEDs, the other I couldn't see too well but there are "some" in there, probably also 6. That would make sense, since Nissan published a German info, that states "12 LEDs". It just was unclear, if with "12 LEDs" they were refering to the 6 reflectors per headlight which each have one LED, or if there is something more complex at work. Turned out the latter is the case, indeed there are 12 individual MATRIX beams per headlight. I also made a video of the MATRIX LEDs in action where you can see that the system is quite detailed. The X-Trail should at least perform similar, if not better. This seems to be quite a good system, not as precise as the projector based systems, but it's still one of the better ones out there I would say! There also seems to be some kind of range adjustment for motorways, since the low beam throws a lot farther in that context, which is very nice if the freeway it full of cars and the MATRIX can't do its thing -> kzbin.info/www/bejne/p6PXnHd4ecalsMU
