-Maverick- er... ummm... GripperSim - Great video buddy, especially the Bf109 jock bobbing his head around like he was drunk! Speaking of that Bf109, how do you like it? LOL it certainly demands respect and a light touch doesn't it? Gotta admit it took me a while before I could get it off the ground, much less finally perform some fairly uneventful takeoffs and landings. But after an extensive learning curve, i.e., a ground looping extravaganza (didn't know to lock the freakin' tailwheel!), I began to really like it. The agile, but nervous Nellie, flight model to me, is appropriate for the high performance WWII beast and it truly feels like a 'seat of the pants' flyer. Yep, _tieman68_ did an outstanding job on that vintage warbird! 👍👍 Keep 'em coming GS! 😁

Hi Jimbo! I think it's a great free download for all the reasons you stated, and a very nice challenging freeware aircraft. Tailwheel aircraft are great fun as they are more challenging. It's more freeware like this I'm looking for and will post them as soon as I find them! Thanks for your comments as always! : )

Short and sweet, very nice. The B-17 looks kewl, especially the engine fire. The music was a bit loud though, I had to keep adjusting my volume. Otherwise it was a great video.

Australian Studios raf Lossiemouth is one of the two qra (quick reaction alert) stations, along with raf conningsby, ever since the Battle of Britain two aircraft at each have been ready to scramble in a couple minutes so yeah I think it would have been scrambled

Another great and informative video from you sir, thanks very much for the work. That old Bomber looks great, definatly worth a look, can't believe I missed that one. How do you find frames around Southampton airport?? I had that Orbx Southampton in my old p3d and frames on approach especially where bloody awful....has the Xplane 11 improved on that, if so I will have to purchase the Xplane 11 version, it's a great detailed looking airport.

Ye Mayday, Southampton is very good, fits in well with orbx GB. I didn't notice any frame drop, and I am running my PC at its limits... I'm looking to upgrade for the channel! Thanks for commenting : )

Hi Flugzeug, search the X-Plane.org site, you may need to email the Gumroad site, as it looks like this link has changed since I put it up originaly! Very frustrating. I'll try and look into it.

Can I recommend an aircraft for the series. I would recommend Exploration Out Industries F-35A found on the org website. I may be a bit biased sense I am on the testing team but it is very good. New update should come out soon with a lot of features!

You have to buy good quality ones separately but almost all world airports are available at the gateway site to download. Gateway airports are not high quality however. There are some excellent, very detailed, freeware airports for a lot of places on the xplane.org site. The best freeware airports imo are all of Mister X's sceneries. If you are considering buying xplane I would go for it, as long as your pc can handle it. It offers a lot more freeware than any of the other platforms and the freeware Zibo mod 737 is exceptional.

Thanks Fortnite, I think Kai answered that nicely. Most of my airports are Freeware, Mr'X;s are the best, I made a few videos on MisterX sceneries. You can indeed download a free trial of X-Plane and see how it goes, thanks both for your comments... Keep'em coming! : )
