Yes X-Winch is a must have if you're gliding in X-Plane.

Hello Chris, thanks for your video series on gliding in X-Plane, it inspired me to to try sim gliding again - haven’t done that since Condor in perhaps 2006. Anyway, X-Winch and the B21 instruments with the NHAdrian K21 are a perfect combination. My first solo was in a Blanik, so hope to give that a go too for nostalgia sake - most Blanik gliders in Europe are grounded now due to a fatal spar cap failure about 10 years ago. I had a little laugh about the lack of audio vario on the Blanik - we never had that either, but I did use a portable audio vario designed for paragliders to wear on their crash helmet - it did the job! Anyway, I’ve got a video of X-Winch and the K21 coming out on my channel in a couple of days - I’ll link to your channel and the forum in the hope of driving more virtual pilots towards gliding.
