Hello CP: Thank you for this video sir. A ways back you had mentioned the Xtool D8 with the corded connection to the diagnostic port. I must agree with you 100 % that I prefer the wire connection to the diag port as the Bluetooth connection has a tendency to loose the communications with the display + at times poor bluetooh range. I must say that this tool has bailed me out many times, is well made, the weekly updates I run are terrific so for what I do now it's terrific. Now if had my businesses I must have multiple scan tools by different OEM'S cause there is no one tool for all regardless of price. I've gotten burned many times with programming using aftermarket scanners so all of my programming needs it goes back to the OEM DEALERSHIP. Nice job CP, & my best to Henry. TMP from N.J.

Amazing that you get a lot of bang for the buck. When I started DIYing, all you could get was a code reader. Tool trucks had better stuff, but for huge money.

I have the Xtool nice unit for the price! Use it a lot for new key programming, nice side hustle! My only complaint is it’s speed is not the best. Have had mine for 2 years now.

This is $400 on Amazon. I think I would’ve went with a D8S or a D8W. More money, memory, and possibly future proof. Plus topology. I think the D8 you can also use as a pad.

I have problems with the xtool and the live data stream. The scaling is locked in and cannot be changed, I would except auto scaling but that doesn't happen. I was trying to monitor a rear O2 sensor and the scaling was set to 10 volts plus and minus
